Or as the (inspired) 'Apostle to the Gentiles', Paul - formerly Saul of Tarsus - expressed things in the pivotal Reformation-heralding book of Romans:

He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

In, again, a time wherein there will be distress of nations, with perplexity...

 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth...

Yes, he - apparently - is  (depending, admittedly, upon how you happen to *read/understand/interpret these particular Scriptures) *And, sure, I'd never ever claim this as a biblical truism, much less declare to folk that the inclusion of selfsame scriptures  absolutely indicates anything at all  ('beyond' the printed page')... but I do consider it mighty interesting, to say the least...
