Though There ARE A Few 'Voices In the Wilderness' - Clear-Headed, Articulate, Cogent & Cohesive in Their 'Argumentation' - STILL, Saying JUST WHAT OUR GENERATION MOST NEEDS TO HEAR...(John Anderson, Former Deputy PM of 'Oz, Being A Notable Example Thereof)

But will they - this generation - (even bother to) hear/listen in?

Sadly, I doubt it, at least not the great majority...

...and so, when 'the crisis of the ages' unfolds in the not too distant, they will not be ready...

As the Master Himself put things so very 'pathetically', as in with abundance of pathos (in His voice and manner and everything about Him in fact)

"O Thou Who Stone the Prophets and Kill Those Sent To You,

How Often I Would Have Gathered Your [Little Ones] Together...

...But You Were Not Willing...

Behold, Your House Is Left Unto You Desolate!"

(As per an unexampled interview broadcast this very evening in New Zealand, where Mr Anderson was being interviewed by Gary Hoogvliet (sp?!?!?) in an excellent series on Shine TV, 'A Very Tall Man'...

Someone NOT CITED SPECIFICALLY in the Holy Scriptures? Perhaps, But Maybe Not (At Least Figuratively/Typically, Anyways): *His name literally means 'Who is like God?' - **Like Cyrus of old, of whom God declared, by His servant Isaiah, "I have raised him up in righteousness, And I will direct all his ways" & "I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known Me" - & About Whom, As with Israel's ***(I.e. Judah's) Saviour-Deliverer, Jesus Christ the Saviour,****the Sacred Record Declares: "A prophet is not without honour save in his own country..."

Can you guess of whom I speak?  Of the 20th-Century totara among totaras, the Soviet Union's last leader, Mikhael Gorbachev... * As can be discovered in any baby names' book. **See, for example, Isaiah 44:28; 45:1(-)4;5;13. ***See Herbert Armstrong's brilliant exposition of the historical destiny of the two ancient Hebrew (tribal) 'nations' of Palestine, America and Britain in Prophecy . ****Matthew 13:57; see also Mark 6:4.
